“London calling to faraway towns” is the current output or is programming in the regions too London centric?

Jamie Conway is CEO of Made Television, the leading City TV network with channels broadcasting in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool and Tyne & Wear, Teesside & North Wales.

Conway believes that the programming provided by some broadcasters in key regions across the UK is too London centric and that it is alienating viewers living outside of the Capital. It is his view that there is a growing dissatisfaction and feeling of isolation among people who don’t live “at the top of the dial”.

Among Conway’s most important objectives at Made TV is his commitment to disrupt the current output of programming provided in the regions and to provide programming that better reflects the diversity, regional distinctions and unique individualism of viewers living outside of London.
