Clare Plaisted is an accomplished communications strategist with expertise in marketing and strategic counsel across media, entertainment tech, IT, telco, ad tech, and business management sectors. With experience spanning in-house and independent roles, she has worked across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Australasia, and the US.

Her career includes key positions at Firefly Communications and BBC Broadcast (now Red Bee Media), as well as more than a decade of consulting for leading clients such as LucidLink, Zixi, MovieLabs, and Fabric. Clare has also served as a studio moderator for the NAB Show in Las Vegas and New York as well as IBC in Amsterdam, facilitating industry discussions at a global scale.

A three-time co-founder of marketing agencies, she helped establish The Hive Group a data-driven marketing agency built on deep industry relationships, and PRComs, an integrated communications firm supporting startups and established global organisations in their market positioning and outreach efforts.

Based in Washington, DC, Clare has collaborated with a diverse portfolio of clients, including Comcast Technology Solutions, Final Pixel, and Rightsline. She holds a BA in English and History from Indiana University.
