Dagmar Driesnack graduated in Media Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Mittweida. In 2006 she joined the Institut fuer Rundfunktechnik (IRT) as an Engineer. She led several video related projects at IRT for the German speaking public broadcasters for HDTV and UHDTV, focusing on video quality aspects for acquisition, production and contribution. She chaired also various EBU groups like “Video Systems” until the closing of IRT. In 2021 she joined Rohde & Schwarz GmbH in Hanover as a Solution Manager working in the production and headend area. Since end of 2024 she is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Appear AS in Norway.

She is a Member of SMPTE and the FKTG in Germany, has been honored as SMPTE Fellow and the RISE R&D Award in 2024 and she is currently the SMPTE Regional Governor for EMEA, Central and South America.
