David Scott is an experienced VFX Supervisor and compositor at BlueBolt with credits spanning major feature films and episodic from Avengers: Endgame and James Bond: No Time To Die to Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.

David joined BlueBolt in 2020 as VFX Supervisor on Robert Egger’s The Northman, going on to supervise the VFX for The Great season 3 (MRC/Hulu) on which BlueBolt was lead studio. David was recently nominated for a Visual Effects Society Award for his work as VFX Supervisor on Robert Eggers’ acclaimed Nosferatu.

David’s career includes time at DNEG as compositing Supervisor (James Bond: No Time To Die; Les Misérables); MPC (Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince; Batman Begins) and six years at Weta Digital in New Zealand as Lead Compositor and Look Development Lead on high profile features including three Planet of the Apes films; Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice; Iron Man 3 and both Hobbit films.

David began his career as a graphic designer moving into VFX in the early 2000’s at The Visual Factory and MPC.
