Erika brings over 15 years of experience in the news and media industry across the UK & Asia Pacific. At Reuters, she is part of the Strategy and Operations Division responsible for the long-term profitability of news through development of organic initiatives and M&A. Prior to Erika’s business and commercial strategy function, she has held roles in news gathering, audience engagement, and product innovation and propositions. She specialises in developing and operationalising effective go-to-market plans and forging long-term, partnerships with government agencies and technology companies. Originally an investigative journalist covering national security and natural disasters in the Philippines, Erika is passionate about diversifying sources of revenue to commercially advance fact-based journalism.
