Helen Alexander

Helen Alexander is known significantly for her rapport with creative sound talent and joined the Formosa Group leadership team in 2022, aligning the fundamental talent first principle in the UK across Features, Broadcast and Streaming (FBS).Helen earned a degree in Biochemistry from Glasgow University. Prior to joining Formosa, her roles included Finance Director, as well as facility and management, at the iconic Warner Bros. De Lane Lea in Soho, London, and over 7 years as Managing/Finance Director for several leading post-production and media companies in the UK market. Eventually, Helen circled back to De Lane Lea for a further 4years as Director of Operations & Business Development. In 2016, Helen transitioned into the music streaming business, driving growth at Merlin, a company licensing independent artists on digital streaming platforms, heading up and growing Finance, Reporting, HR, Operations and IT into independent departments within the business. Helen has an appreciative enthusiasm for sound post and creative sound talent, bringing a breadth of post-production experience together with well-established relationships with creative talent and extensive leadership skills.
