Lauren Newport-Quinn brings over a decade of experience in high-end TV and film post-production, with a deep understanding of the industry's evolving needs. She has spent several years driving creative cluster engagement and exploring the integration of games engines across diverse media, pushing the boundaries of innovation in film, TV, and beyond. Currently, Lauren works with the University for the Creative Arts, managing innovation projects that leverage their state-of-the-art Virtual Production studio for both research and commercial purposes. She is a strong believer in pushing technology for artistic reasons and breaking down barriers to entry.  She plays a key role in forging strong partnerships between industry and academia, helping to create a direct talent pipeline for UCA graduates. Additionally, Lauren is an independent producer specialising in documentary features, further strengthening her diverse expertise in media production with an archive-led mind.
