Trevor Aylward is a highly respected freelance editor and colourist with over 30 years of experience at the cutting edge of sports broadcasting. Specialising in fast-turnaround edits for major international events, Trevor has delivered high-impact content for the BBC, ITV Sport, BT Sport, NBC Olympics and more — often under extreme time constraints and in high-pressure environments.

Having worked on 16 Olympic Games and a wide range of global tournaments including the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championships, Rugby and Cricket World Cups, Trevor brings deep technical expertise in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and EVS IPDirector. He also serves as a trainer and consultant for IPEdit, enabling real-time, live-to-air editing workflows.

With a hands-on role in designing post-production workflows for live and remote productions, Trevor has first-hand insight into the tools, technologies, and strategies that make modern sports broadcasting faster, smarter, and more agile.
